@jjjen: In the end that seems to be the best thing. Why should I purposely sacrifice my job performance just to spite the guy? I never felt right letting my work suffer, and when I came into work today, the mood improved dramatically because of what I did. Don't worry though, I'll be sure to document everything. :D

@CA Marks: LOL, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing. :D

I believe I would have scooped up the rat droppings and promptly place them on the supervisor's desk along with the old crappy broken down computers that were junk piling around the office. Your idea sounds good too though. :-)

This sort of thing happened to my husband. Useless boss. He was so frustrated. I kept reminding him who exactly he was working for Colossians 3:23-24 <i>Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.<i>

He's talking to slaves here, but what are we as employees, but paid slaves until we quit...no difference, right?

Anyway, as frustrating as it was he respectfully worked for this loser. Eventually, people just started coming to him (my hubs) for advice and help. It didn't happen overnight (took a long long time), but finally the guy was transferred, and the higher-ups had noticed my hubs hard work and leadership.

I really believe God honored my hubs for doing the right thing, because right after that he got a new boss who made it his mission to get him a big pay increase.

Anyway to make a short comment even longer, document EVERYTHING take pictures if you have to, keep track of all the improvements you do, in case you have to prove it.
