You know how you can opt for “cash back” when you use your debit card at the supermarket? I needed some cash so I could use the vending machines at work the other day, so I punched in for $10, took my receipt and groceries, then walked out. And completely forgot to take my $10.
And of course I don’t realize this until hours later too, so no chance of going back and retrieving it either.
This wouldn’t be so bad… except that today I did it AGAIN, opting for $10 cash back and then once again completely forgetting to take it.
I hope whoever ended up with my money got a good meal out of it at least.

What am I going to do with you? I’m supposed to be the forgetful one not you. Don’t they have the cashiers initial that they gave you the cash? If they didn’t then you have proof that you didn’t get your money silly nilly :)

I was about to say that the cashiers there suck, but then I saw that you went through the self checkout. I think you need to start going through the regular checkout, Linc. ;)
But I like going to the self checkout! The more I can avoid interacting with people, the better. :-D
I did that once except it was a twenty dollar bill that I forgot to pick up. Ouch.
I once left behind $20 in change when I placed an order at a KFC drive-thru. Most expensive fast food I ever bought.
oh snap, that’s horrible. i would have gone back to get it. that cashier is supposed to track you down in the parking lot should you leave anything. she’s so fired.
