I'm sure he doesnt want be there anymore than you do. If only nine years on the job has done this to you, imagine what forty years has done to him. Perhaps he was an energetic li'l spitfire like you were before life (and work) sucked all hope and ambition out of you. Now believe you me, I understand what it's like to despise the boss you are working under, but in my experience it's more fun to see how much you can annoy them by following the rules. Just memorize these words 'As per contract' and haul them out everytime your rights are being invaded. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer! (:D) Wincybear, be nice to the sad sack boss.
