Funny thing is that music helps me quite often, but not anything like this song...

I really hope you're not referring to songs like "It's a Small World After All" as being helpful.

But yeah, I know what you mean. I think ultimately praise music can lift a person out of depression more than anything else. :)

Psalms 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.

I smile a lot too. I think I do it out of habit sometimes (don't tell anyone). But sometimes there's a lot more going on behind my smile. I do try to focus on the positives and my faith, but there's times when I can't help but get into a funk.

Funny thing is that music helps me quite often, but not anything like this song. I need to listen to something that will lift my spirits. I also refuse to watch anything on TV that will upset me even more. I pray and read my Bible too.

I pray that you don't continue to think that being depressed is what life is supposed to be for you. You have so much to offer.
