A few years ago, I had a really vivid dream where I briefly met… the one. I was sitting in a Subway restaurant when all of a sudden she just appeared, sitting across from me and holding my hand. I couldn’t see her face too clearly, but she was thin, had long blonde hair, and a beautiful smile. I knew I was dreaming too, which for me is very rare, in fact it may have been the first time I was ever aware that I was in a dream. I could feel myself waking up too, and I held on to her hand desperately, not willing to let her go.
She continued to smile at me, her face at peace, her fingers interlocked with mine, and promised me that I would see her soon.
And then she was gone.
Usually I dismiss most of my dreams as being sheer nonsense (including the dreams where I’m Spider-man), but because this one was so vivid, and because I knew I was dreaming, I have to wonder… was she real? Does the girl of my dreams really have blonde hair and a gorgeous smile? Will I meet her in a Subway restaurant someday?
I do know one thing: I’ve made Subway a WHOLE lot richer now ever since I had that dream. :-D
It’s true though, and since I’m a romantic at heart, I make a point of stopping by every Subway joint I come across, just to see if there’s a cute blonde inside snacking on a veggie sandwich. :)
Well, Lincoln, I believe it could happen. There have been many times I have had dreams and then later (days, weeks, months, years later), I will be in a situation and get a strange deja vu feeling… And then I realize, I have been in this place, with these people, hearing these words in my dreams.
Pretty weird but it’s happened enough times to me that I take my dreams more seriously. I believe there’s stuff in there most people don’t tap into. I won’t be surprised to read a post from you saying you’ve met your “dream girl” :)

I think you could miss a wonderful opportunity for a relationship if you pass up the one because she doesn’t fit your imagined (or dreamed) physical description. I dunno. Just saying. ;)

It’s ironic because I’ve always been partial to brunettes, or women with jet black hair. I’ve had some ugly experiences with blondes though, so much that they scare me now.

when i was 12 i dreamed that i’d marry a curly-haired guy. it was so vivid too. and that was the basis for my preference of curly haired guys when I was old enough to date.

Wow, it’s so weird. I just got out of bed and did a Google search that led me to your blog. The reason I was searching is because I had a dream I woke up with this beautiful blonde girl with a gorgeous smile. I couldn’t remember how we met or what we did, but I knew she was the perfect girl. My dream went on and I saw her several times the next day in my small town, but never got a chance to stop and talk to her like I wanted to.
I also didn’t want to wake up, and now I’m sad.
Yeah, the worst part is always waking up.

The Swedish believe in something like that, that if you dream of a girl and that dream is so vivid and so real, the way you described it, it usually means that you saw your future spouse.
I don’t know much of it, but I’ve had similar dreams involving a girl too :) I think about it most of the time, and find happiness knowing maybe one day I’ll meet that girl, or someone similar :)
Interesting, I do know if it ever went down in real life I’d immediately recognize her from the dream, so who knows. It’s nice to think about sometimes.

Well, its the Swedish folklore that believe this, but this “dream girl” we all see in our dreams can be just the mind playing tricks on us, but still, it is a nice dream to have :)

Recurring dreams are significant, so I’d probably take note of what happens in these dreams for clues as to their meaning.
For me it was being stuck back in school and never having graduated. It would be the last semester and I hadn’t gone to any of my classes. With finals coming up I was completely unprepared and in danger of flunking out. Every time I woke up I was convinced I never graduated college. It was very unsettling. Since then I’ve learned these recurring dreams were a reflection of unfinished business I had in my life, and I just wouldn’t be able to move on to better things until it was confronted.

That there was a rumour she loved the mountains and the snow.

Until tonight. While reading your comments, this one gave me the message. See, I too have a recurring dream that I never graduated and missed classes in two courses. I realize that you must get so many comments here regarding others stories. I wonder if, like me, you just pushed it aside or gave up on it? So many relationships have past but there is so much life to live.
Gave up on it. Given the flakiness and neurosis of women I’ve seen in real life, chances are remote that such a dream girl could really exist. I found it better to just move on with my life than to cling to a fanciful myth. It sucks but that’s the world we live in.
i had a dream about 2-3 years back of a girl that is deamed to be my partner and i know this cause it took place in a certen room of a house i never been in befor and now im actrully living in that house and the room in the dream was infact my currunt bedroom iv had many dreams of this person sence but diffrent times and locations and so too has my closest freind from school he had a dream that lasted 3 days strait with this girl and i in it iv studied so much on this girl from my dream what me and my freind saw and now we have come to the conlushion of what she looks like and what time of year she was born down to the last detail she is most likley born as a libran in Austrailia and im not kidden with this she looks just like ty lee from the avatar the last airbender i never saw the show befor i had this dream the main part of the dream i rember was her coming to my room me walking up to her and puting our arms around eachother in the doorway of my room im not sure about her age but she looks like ty lee and im guseing from what has been in the dreams between me and my freind i will most likly be seing this person in the next 5 years or so and if anyone wants to know im a 20 year old arien who actrully looks like zuko but with out the scar

I was doing the same thing you did when you had that dream. I was trying to find out if anyone else has ever had the same dream I had. My dream was really similar to yours same girl with beautiful long blonde her and I beautiful smile. I would like to say it took place a long time ago. It was in winter we went from being in the ice Clod Mountains back to her parent’s house which we had finished getting married in the middle of that time. We where having dinner, when all the sudden some German soldiers come marching down the street to take her away before the dream ends I told her “that I don’t want to lose her again” and she said the same thing back to me. It felt very real I didn’t under stand it but when I woke up I couldn’t wait to go back to sleep and find out.
Someday I hope real life will finally be more interesting than my our dreams. :-D
I just found this thread, cos i had a dream with the most amazing blonde haired girl, started off on a rollercoaster, thats when i noticed her sitting behind me, then we ended up at my house at 1.30 in the morning everyone awake and outside, i even put 2 peoples numbers on her phone. , and it felt like id known her for years, but at the same time i knew it was a dream. Also i have had real deja vu dreams, where i have dreamt of myself with people ive only met once and not understand why im there, until a week later im in that exact spot and understand how it happened :P so never let your hope die =]
I get that too for some reason, encounters in real life that I swore I dreamt about a while ago. I should probably keep a journey of my dreams just for comparison whenever I get a deja vu moment.
Its because our dreams link us to the past/present/future, everything we see is a jumble of the 3 which is why somethings dont make sense. But somethings in life are not finalliazed, as some dreams i have stop at a point because thats where the choice comes in altho im weird because i can generally control my dreams like redo bits until they go the way i want them, even tho im asleepand karyssa, i to couldn’t get the dream out of my head all day at work
It’s weird that most of the people’s dream here is about meeting blonde a girl. Could our mind be playing trick on us or is it really going to happen? Because my dream girl is a blonde girl too, but I didn’t really dreamed while sleeping, I actually think or imagine about her all the time. It is disturbing me, I can’t help not to think about her. I always imagine that I’m going to meet her, keeping my hopes up. Of course it never happened yet or maybe it’s not going to happened. Since I was a 14, I had very realistic dreams and feelings throughout my life that got stronger as the years progressed, about a man with black long hair (wavy & past shoulder length) with blue eyes, and fair skin.
I believe his name is Alec, or was in another life.
In my dreams we always have a deep and great love for each other, and I feel that I missed him when I am awake. And in my waking life, I also had days to where I could sense he was with me, almost as his voice was just a whisper away from my ear.
Sadly after many yrs. of looking–haha, I never met him in this life, but I think in cases like this, they could be your soulmate on the otherside, a spirit guide, a past life memory of a partner, and/or a higher-self. Not sure, but the feelings/dreams like this are difficult to deny, and I believe there could be some truth to these type of occurrences, maybe because we are older souls? But either way, it’s good to know that we are not alone in this. :-D
I believe in angels but not spirit guides, as much as I’d like to think there’s some Wonder Woman type mistress on the other side waiting to embrace me into her bosom. :-D
The dream happened so long ago now that i no longer attribute much to it, but I have had dreams that leave me with frustrating deja vu, as in I’ll have an encounter in real life that I could SWEAR up and down that I dreamed about (down to the last detail) only a week before. I really need to write my dreams down as soon as I awake so I can confirm this, but always been too lazy to do so.
ist funny, just last night i had this dream. she was a blonde with long hair and a smile to die for. take note im only 15 and this takes place in random areas of my school like the cafeteria and hallways. it started out that i was talking to my cousin and she comes walkin over and says something i dont remember and just starts kissing me. then is goes to the whole hallway scene where we are just walking arm in arm, hand in hand and arguing( in a good way) about how much we love each other and then i wake up and ive been spending all day thinking of who she is and i just cant picture her in my head. but if i soon get lucky and picture her just right and find out who she is. i will find her and she will be the last girl i will be with forever because i know it could work out. feel free to reply to this thanks.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I have recurring dreams of a guy with dark hair. He is in his early twenties, has broad shoulders, and might be the average or shorter than average height for a guy (can’t really tell) Anyway, he shows up about three times a month in my dreams, sometimes around five times. It is always a different setting but he still visits me. It’s kind of weird actually, if I think of him enough and whisper for him to come visit me before I go to sleep, then he shows up. Maybe I am the hopless romantic type, too. I don’t know, but he makes me feel the happiest I have ever been when I see him. I don’t mean lust, but more of very strong love. He implied that we would be together eventually, but I don’t know when eventually is. I’m just a short, blonde girl who is high school with big dreams. Dreams that might not come true….

well seems like theres been some more talk since i was last on. i have good news and bad news for my last post. iv actruly seen the girl in person in my local IGA but havent seen her sence i saw her working there but wasnt for sure on the person. for a bit more acuret details she dose appare like ty lee but she has no earlobs. and my own appenrence from the dream was long wavy black hair fair slight tan skin avg hight around 160cm for a 21 year old now eyes are at times amber to a brown coulur and i can pass at times for a 16 year old. and for an account on most of the dreams my freind and i have had take place around 2020 but i know for sure the time i meet her will be soon if not sooner.
Be careful not to let your dreams completely dictate your actions though. You don’t want to miss out on the girl of your dreams just because her earlobes didn’t match. ;-) Just live and enjoy your life, and whatever happens will happen.
Umm for one the girl at the IGA was the same in the dream down to the last detail. I was only describing the person from the dream in more detail. My friend drempt of me seeing this girl in the same IGA and he has never set foot in the IGA.

Hey, I’m back. So I’m getting really worried because I have not been able to dream of ‘him’ lately. There was one time that I knew he was there but I could not see him. It was like he was invisible. The last dream I had of him was the one when he implied that we would be together soon. I’ve written down all the times he had visited my dreams and have prayed to him but this isn’t helping very much.

HOLY HELL! I think I saw him today! He works at a movie theater in Houston and when I saw him, he saw me, too. He wouldn’t stop staring at me, and I wouldn’t stop staring at him. It was like we knew each other. Eventually he looked away, though. Crap! I wish that I talked to him!!!!!!!!

i had a dream about a black girl she is beautiful and she as got a wonderful smile. i met her in the park around London bridge and i was with my friends playing out on that day, so we wen t up to them flirting she was with her other friends and we got along so much on that day, that the next day i went to the park searching for her, because of the connectivity i had with her, it was in my dream but it feels so real and i have been searching for a girl like that all my life shes so simple, funny great sense of humor. i went to the park describing her to people if they have seen her. finally someone showed me were she could be, and i was walking by i saw her coming out from the church i was so happy i saw her, i told her i have been looking for her and i fell in love with her the first day i met her i had to say my mind i couldn’t hold it and she smiled and my face was so serious. i dont know what it is its like shes a love poison to me i feel connected with her so much, all of a sudden my DOG woke me up licking my face, and woken up i still cant get over it, i wish it was real and still worries me, hope i find her.

Trust us, you are not the only one who feels that way towards someone. Whether you have met them before or not, it is like that feeling towards them just stays with you. No matter what. =] but that’s not a bad thing, just keep it in mind before you truely give yourself to someone forever. Thats what I’m doing.

Last night I dreamed of the prettiest girl I have ever seen, she had. Black hair with pink highlights and she and I were in love, the dream was so vivid and we met outside her house, an old suburban wooden paneling house(large). We had our first kiss in a little cafe and from then on I actually started feeling emOtiona towards her, she was perfect in every regard and around my age. I’m just a 14 year old guy in Australia, I don’t know her name but I can’t stoP thinking about her and her hair and her everythIng.
The most vivid part was kissing her 3 times in quick succession, which made her smile, the most beautiful smile ever.

Hello everyone! I just had a dream about this “amazing blonde girl”. I was taking pictures of our town sports centre and suddenly saw a women volleyball team,most players were 16 years old,like me.I dont remember the next part very good,but then we were talking and flirting,then she grabbed my hand and smiled.Then we were playing need for speed on her iPhone,things were going great,then i appeared suddenly in a video game that i played just before the sleep. Great. I was in a cathedral,but my insticts were telling me that she was still in my mind/dreams. I was half-wake and i could feel my eyes opening.No,i just squezeed them and continued doing tasks.Then i fired a rocket at a bull in the cathedral,and i suddenly WOKE UP IN THE DREAM. Nah, I haven’t had a dream about her in a long, long time. The dream occurred in 2003 too, almost 10 years ago. O_O
Ahhhh – loved this thread ! Dreaming and believing anything is possible is a beautiful thing :) …. Although 10 years on you sound as though you may have lost heart …… Or maybe you realised the dream meant there is one for you – and never settle for anything less than that feeling….. Maybe you already have your ‘one’ :)
I did learn not to settle, seen too many marriages fails to fall into that trap, but I’ve also become disillusioned over the years too. I think my dream girl really is someone I’ll only ever see in my dreams.
No no no !!!! Never give up on real love – raw , perfect & unspoiled ! The ‘once in a lifetime’ love !!!!! The love that you can feel with all of your senses-someone who makes you better somehow – I believe in love in its truest sense – perfect love – not perfect person – but someone who’s imperfections are perfect too …… Love can come at anytime xxxxx don’t stop believing in it – I know I will sound foolish & hopeless but she is there <3 don't loose the magic :)

I saw that a while back you posted it could be unfinished business. I had a dream of a short haired blonde girl with me last night. I can’t remember where. I think it could be because of the girl I liked that had moved away. Waking up almost hurt me.
Yeah the waking up part is always the WORST after a dream like that. ;-)

i know what you mean sir.. She is just perfect and i dont want to belivie that she may not excist.. I saw her when i was a kid for the first time, than i wanted to find out so much but things went over. i became a grown up today and last night, she made an appearence.. It really hits me
Well I work at Subway but I am neither blonde nor white. I am a good person with a big heart but these days I don’t know if these attributes are appreciated. I do have very nice teeth though, so I’m sure my smile would make it into somebody’s dream lol :D

Well idk how to start this put I had I dream like that. In my dream there was a place (house) a dog and a girl I never saw there face or the house but I felt truly happy but when I woke up I felt that I had to find that place or that person also when I woke up I knew somehow where I should go idk why but I feel that I should go to canada to find whatever was in my dream.
This is so unreal . I had the same kind of dream today .She also randomly appeared .Her face , smile , eyes were like an angels .Her silk blonde hair and she always smiled .Suddenly I woke up and had this hell of a strange feeling I never have had before ,a feeling for hope , maybe a little depression ,I was just shocked because there was something in her , something more than life .
I guess it’s time to open up the studio and make some trance .
I had this dream the other nite of my dream girl, she had long dark brown or black hair, I swear she said her name was kirsti, or something like that, I wish I could have the dream again
I dreamt perhaps 2 years ago, of sitting atop a land rover, in middle of a massive plain, a river flowing about 3 metres in front of the jeep, holding a beautiful blonde beside me, I only saw the side of her face but she was stunning, she smiled and whispered “is this it? Its not fair” then I woke up, I honestly felt her body against mine for a few seconds, of course this played in my mind since, I’ve always wanted to explore a rugged country but I thought I would be alone after my military service….then, this is the scary part, I saw the identical girl in my favourite cafe in Dublin, she smiled as I opened the door for her, I just stared with my mouth wide open, a week later and I go to my best friends house party in belfast, and who is standing in the corner, in a gorgeous black dress, holding a glass of water and smiling right at me, I just looked at her in awe, then laughed with her, then hugged her, it felt so familiar,what was the chance? These cities are 100 miles apart..she is from Zimbabwe originally, her father owns land in south Africa, she came to Ireland because she spun a globe, closed her eyes and pointed at random, she has substantial finances so she just got on a plane and stayed in a hostel for a while, we are now great, close friends, and she asked me this week to accompany her to go home and visit her family, this has obviously put my mind into overdrive, my friends, I once put my dream at the back of my consciousness, dismissed as fantasy, but I promise you this is the girl, and I know my dream will be complete, never close your eyes, open your eyes, your mind and your heart, I did, and now I have something more important to me than my own life, it will happen if you take risks, dare to believe and put yourself out there, you will fail, you will hurt, but eventually you’ll get there, I have, good luck my friends, if I have given one of you a sliver of hope then this was worth telling, best of luck, eyes open, and live for more than your everyday :)
i actually had one about a pink haired girl it was odd and felt vary real started out in a huge restaurant with a some what big pool in the middle of it i think place was HUGE and yet i felt i had been there before the water was about stomach level where it stared was when i went to eat there and showed up i ran in to my brother his girlfriend my dad and my uncle with his daughter i think didn’t know the baby he was holding but i sat and talked to them all for a minute then got up left to get my own sitting then i eat at a table wasn’t bad was good food but got bored so i decided to walk around and came-across the pool this is were i meat the pink haired girl she was standing on the other side of the pool the water was pitch black she walked in and got close to were i was she asked me something and with out thinking twice i stepped in the black pool gets kinda censured at that point but what i found odd was a a little over half way through when she was holding on to me with her legs warped around me i tried to carry her out of the pool to a bed and im not sure if it was her or something else but something was pulling me back in to the pool i think she was pushing me back to the pool but i don’t know for sure i steped back down off the step back in to the pool and after about 5 seconds i woke up.

Well my dream was strange. I mean the way I felt about this girl I had only just met in the dream I just tried to kiss her .I want to find the girl in my dream that made me feel that way. I just hope that dreams come true and that I will meet the mysterious girl that could make me feel so happy. I just had to type because I still can’t quit thinking about this dream.
I found my dream girl, we are both 13 and shes so pretty, she has dark brown hair and dazzleing eyes, i wish i could ask her out.

2013 Milestone xD . I really enjoyed reading all the replies =) really hope someday we find the “one”.
I remember a long time ago, i used to have dreams about two boys, probably 15 – 16, the both of them. they were my best friends, they worked at some sandwich place, in the middle of a small neighborhood. They were so kind, i met with them every night for weeks. the dreams were so vivid, so real, to this day, 5 years later, i still remember their clothes, but their faces remain a blur. They began to get so real that i talked to them in my sleep, all i could think about was meeting them… and just this week, i had a dream just like it, only i was with a girl. She had Jet black hair, little over shoulder length, she was so kind to me, so real… i think im in love with her, and as far as i know, she doesent exist… im trying to push the thought of her out of my mind because i know its not really healthy, but im failing miserably. ive had several dreams to come true, and i hope this is one of them. Everyone to read this, i want you to google The Secret. it will seem rediculus, but go through some of the storys. All you have to do is constantly think about meeting her. dont be specific, just wherever you are, constantly imagine she/he will walk through that door, and she will, eventually.
I had the most incredible dream. I was walking through my schools hallway and I was talking to this really nice girl, but i wasnt looking at her, just forward. Out of the clear blue i saw some kind of thick rope heading for us from behind. I ducked and yelled “look out!” She got hit by it and passed out. I started shaking her on doing sort of chest compressions because she didnt seem to be breathing. She finally gasped awake and I saw her beauty clearly and remember it vividly. She wasnt quite blonde, she had almost white hair. She had a thin face and was just the definition of beauty. She looked at me with eyes that resembled the beautiful blue of the sky. She leaned in quickly and kissed me. I felt a sudden connection to her unlike any Ive ever felt before. We just hugged eachother for what felt like hours. She suddenly had to leave for something and told me she’d be back soon. She seemed maybe a few years older than me, but the connection we had seemed even more real than when I woke up (which really sucked). I havent stopped thinking about her for even a minute since I had that dream a few days ago. I feel so much that she is real……..
I’ve drawn a picture of the girl of my dreams…… She has black hair, she’s tall, slim, and very light skinned… Idk if she’s Caucasian, black, asian.. But she very light skinned… It’s more I want to share about what happened in the dream but I’m just being a little lazy right now lol…. So I’m just giving details about her….. I believe she’s really out there…. She’s always on my mind…. My heart feels it big time!
