Ironically, I’m making the same with 100 visitors a day than a website with 2000-3000 uniques a day, but which only gets 40 cents CPM. I give up a lot of real estate though for the ads, so anything less than $1 CPM for each space would be an insult.

You are doing better than me there when it comes to eCPM even though I’m suppose to be good at this.

The problem with getting a bunch of links is that people have to want to link to you, unless you find another way to artificially build your backlinks, and that itself might bite you in the boonie boons over the long run.

Nup, looks like I’m just gonna have to do this the old fashioned way: bribery. Or was that blackmail? I always confuse the two.

I find that the best thing one can do to make money with a blog or a site with that matter is get tons of links. You can refer to it as behind the scenes but it is not. Finding the right keywords and getting links pointing back to your site with those keywords will get you search engine traffic, for free! Traffic that will actually make you money in the long run, traffic you did not have to pay for! Just a few thoughts…nice blog by the way
