Mou, we do have the same type of laws, but the problem is I have to wait till something is done to me personally before my union will take any action. And when will that be, when she shoots me????

I just got off the phone after a vicious spat with my union rep too. For people who are supposed to be advocates, they sure have a strange way of showing it. If I speak to the director and nothing happens there, I may have to do the unthinkable: get in touch with the ACLU.

Sounds crazy! You should look into the law on this one I reckon - I’m sure theres some employment law somewhere that says that everyone has the right to work in a friendly environment without fear of harrasment - or something like that. Or maybe thats just in the UK, I don’t know.

Either way, if she’s making your working life hell then maybe you’ve got some sort of legal recourse. Maybe its worth hinting at that when you speak to your big boss???
