It’s talking about when Jesus entered Jerusalem, when He rode into the city. He asked his disciples to go into town and bring him the donkey. It’s Matthew 21:2…Looks to me like either these people who made the sign just didn’t think, or they were trying to pull people in out of curiosity.

Could be, a popular practical joke is to rearrange this type of sign to say something rude.
