I’m actually sitting here at the car wash , waiting for the little elves to finish waxing my ride, and typing out this blog post out on my new iPod Touch.
Even in landscape mode I don’t know how anybody could type on this with any amount of speed. The buttons are so tiny and it feels so awkward typing things out with just my two meaty thumbs. Hopefully I’ll get used to it though, maybe to the point where I can actually blog while driving too.
I’m also hoping my iPod will help me organize my life a little better and get into the routine of blogging more regularly, especially since I’ll have something on hand to jot things down whenever my muse finds me. I like the idea of blogging on the go and weaving a short story out of what I see and experience as it happens.
Blogging may yet be light for a bit until I finish going through the 30,000 something apps that’s now available for the iPod/iPhone.
And me being the OCD weenie that I am, I just can’t be content to download the most popular apps and be done with it. I just HAVE to know what’s out there so I don’t crazy wondering, “What am I missing, what am I missing?”
In the meantime, the iPod at least takes me one step closer to being the ultimate Blogging Badass.

Batman MUST have his toys! Good luck on that blogging on the go! I have been thinking about a blackberry 4 that!Unsure…
Some trivia – re: hi-tech toys – I saw on the web yesterday that NCIS (a big fav in our house) is preparing to introduce their Hi-Tech gadget shop – with things like a “funcooker”?! Under the division of Special Projects…LOVE your slogan!

I take it these gadgets won’t be available to the general public though.
Thanks for the compliment!

Ooooh. iLike.
You’ll have to let me know how the Touch works out for you–I’ve been debating getting one for quite a while in the hopes that I’ll get more blogging done, too…
[P.S. I'm super jealous.]

So far it’s working out great except for not having a steady connection to the Net. I’m hoping my next cell phone will allow me to tether the iPod to it an this way I’ll always have internet access on it but we’ll see.
As for getting more blogging done, it definitely helps for those spur of the moment posts or if you want to blog something live, take pictures/videos and upload them. Not so much for writing epic story posts that are more than say, one paragraph long. The keyboard is just too awkward and it wouldn’t make a difference to me if I was using a Blackberry instead either, because they keys are just too flipping tiny for my meaty, manly hands.
If you really want one though, religiously surf eBay. That’s how I managed to get mine for $100 less than the retail price, after checking the listings for about a week or so, and then sniping some high bidder’s silly arse off at the last second before he had a chance to outbid me.

You didnt even notice that I’m Batman’s baby momma, did you?
