I agree with Rachel. And sometimes you need to throw out the preconceived ideas about what Miss Right will be like. Keep an open mind, and I’m sure you will find her when the time is right.

I don’t even know what to say to all of this, just wanted you to know I’d stopped by! Careful not to build up miss dream wife 2008ish too much, after all, we ain’t perfect, not even Jessica Alba! (I know, shocking but true.) Marriage lasts (generally) a long time and even those of us closer to heaven’s standards can be painful at times! Don’t give up, just avoid pedistals & you’ll be ok.

Seriously, if you look at ancient cultures from Egypt to Sumeria to China they had wedding practices and rights long before Christianity came along.

Well I did say it’s derived from religious origins, not just Christian. I think you’d be hard pressed to find any marriage since the dawn of time that didn’t have any religious element to it. It’s probably one of the oldest surviving religious rituals known to man.

Personally, I’d rather just club a hottie over the head and drag her home. It would make my love life so much easier.
